Senior Network Engineer with over 30 years of experience in providing enterprise/industrial networking solutions, design, documentation, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex networking systems.  Provided technical knowledge, insight, and direction for future operational planning.  Mark has provided technical expertise to projects in both the public and private sectors.

Mr. Ashby is a successful network engineer with many enterprise and industrial network projects in diverse industries including agriculture, chemical, financial, hospitality, government, industrial, oil/gas, and aerospace.  Some of his latest projects include a nuclear test site where he implemented high speed industrial networking and network security.  In the agriculture industry he designed, implemented, and maintained a 140 square mile industrial control network with 250 PLC’s and 500+ network devices. Built the SCADA with Aveva System Platform utilizing their Historian and Insight for dashboards and reporting.  He has extensive experience with routers, switches, security appliances and many other network devices by vendors Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Hewlett Packard and many more.  

Mr. Ashby went to college at Bellevue Community College followed by the University of Washington for Computer Science. He holds two Cisco CCNA’s, Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Cisco CCNP Security, Cisco Certified DevNet Professional, Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist, and several Cisco Certified Specialist certifications.  Mr. Ashby is currently in pursuit of further certifications in Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, Cisco CCIE Security, Cisco CCDE, and Offensive Security OSCP.
